The Hopetoun Community Resource Centre is set to turn the town technicolor when its annual Colour Run returns on February 22.

The all ages, five kilometre walk or run will begin at McCulloch Park, travelling along Southern Ocean Road until the Two Mile Beach turn off before heading back to the park.

Colour powder stations and other activities along the way will ensure every participant finishes the run covered in colour.

For people not participating in the run or walk there will be plenty of free entertainment to enjoy at McCulloch park, including a wide variety of market stalls, live music and food.

The event is family friendly and BYO alcohol is permitted within the park boundaries.

The community celebration will be held from 3pm to 7pm, with the colour run commencing at 4.30pm.

This year's event will have a waste free focus, with no plastic packaging at food stalls and no plastic bottles.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottle and utilise the free filtered water stations across the event.

Participation is $25 per person which includes a Colour Run wrist band, t-shirt, sunglasses and powder sachet.

Limited tickets are available and can be found online at www.hopetounwa.com or in person at the Hopetoun CRC.
