This Saturday, January 11, is set to be a beautiful 29 degrees, a perfect night to grab a rug, some snacks, a beanbag and the family when the Soundshell comes alive as Moving Movies host the animated movie 'Cars'. Gates open at 6.30pm and the movie starts at 7.15pm just after sunset. Adults $10, Kids (2-17) $5, eftpos available. Saturday January 18 is Shrek.

The Esperance Growers Market has had a change in location to the Esperance Scout Hall, Saturday morning January 11 from 9am - 11am. Get some fresh local produce, help reduce food miles, grab a plant or two, delicious preserves and crafts from the Esperance Growers Market

Escare, the Shire of Esperance and Esperance Community Arts will host The One & All CommunityProgram from January 13-17. Monday is the Nyungar Kaaniwaup dance/step and play from 10-11.30am, Tuesday is Ultimate Frisbee 10am-12pm, Wednesday Surf Lifesaving 9.30-11.30am, and Art with Pauline and Suzie Bonney from 1-3pm, Friday is Netball from 10am-12pm. The Cannery Arts Centre has some great Creative Kickarts classes for the kids this month. Tuesday January 14, is 'House on the Hill' a mixed media class using canvas, acrylic paints, paper, buttons and more. Wednesday January 15, is 'Handmade Paper' using recycled materials. Thursday January 16, is 'The Magic of Illusion' with Magic Jules where children can learn close-up magic and card tricks. Friday January 17, is 'Raku Clay Koalas' using clay to make your very own koala. Tuesday January 21, is 'Personalised Tees'. Wednesday January 22, is 'Clay Bird Houses', Thursday January 23, is 'Circus Skills' and Friday January 24, is 'Chimes of Clay'. Museum Village Markets are again being held Sunday January 19 from 8.30am-12.30pm, at the Museum Village. They include a large selection of locally made arts and crafts, jams, honey, preserves, market stalls, yummy local cuisine and beautifully crafted coffee. The Museum Village is again hosting Friday Night Markets from 5-9pm, come enjoy a balmy night under the stars.

Esperance Bowling Club is holding Juniors Lawn Bowls Fun Days on January 20 and 27 for people 10 years and over. Bowls are supplied by the club but make sure to wear flat shoes and bring water/hat from 10am-12pm. For more info please contact Jan Fiegert 0488 717 918.
