The Growers Market takes place once a fortnight come rain, hail or shine, Saturday mornings from 9-11am with a new location at The Scout Hall on Saturday, December 14 and 28.

The Museum Village Markets will hold Twilight Markets Friday, December 20 from 5-9pm.

Featuring Market Stalls, food vendors, Village Shops, Lucky Bay Brewery and live music with Leila Ben, Campbell Garratt, Chris Edmundson and Lee Thornton.

Bring dinner, a picnic blanket and the whole family to enjoy some spirited and festive Christmas sounds. Songbooks and programs are available for a gold coin donation. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their best singing pipes, and sit under the stars with the Esperance community.

Keep Esperance Beautiful is hosting a quick beach clean-up followed by a Christmas party 11am-1pm on Sunday, December 15.

Saturday, December 21 will see Moving Movies host How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Soundshell. This family friendly outdoor cinema experience will be the first for the summer season. Bring your blankets, rug and pillows. Movie snacks are available to purchase costing $10 for adults, and $5 for kids (2-17yrs)

The Cannery Arts Centre is holding a two-hour workshop for Resin Homewares.

This sold out event will guide participants through the basics of working with resin on two chosen pieces.

Luckily I bought my ticket early, and look forward to this class, getting creative and working with the glorious, glossy medium of resin. Other events at the Cannery include an Open Mic night Saturday, December 21 from 5.30-8.30pm. Door entry is $5.

The Shire of Esperance is supporting live music and performers to grace the Post Office Square every Friday afternoon 12-1pm from Friday, December 20 until the end of January.

All welcome, BYO lunch and enjoy the atmosphere at the Esperance Square! Live local performers, giant games and local businesses are involved.

Coming up next fortnight the Esperance Bay Yacht Club is holding Beach Dazed. The event features a cracking line-up of music including Grand Casual, Michael Dunstan, Roobs and the Washing Line Economy, DJ FunKnightt, Bodes and Irish Singer/Songwriter Lee. Food will be provided by Esperance Sri Lankan Taste and the EBYC bar will be open for business.
