It's our favourite time of the week, a chance to reflect on the changes in Esperance, the faces and the fun that was being had 10 years ago this week.

The Esperance Senior High School class of 2009 celebrated their graduation with more than 120 students saying goodbye at the school's annual awards night before setting off on their new adventure.

Esperance was named as an official host port for the inaugural Around Australia Ocean Race and Rally.

Esperance junior lifesavers faced off against Kalgoorlie competitors in a series of challenges at the Royal Life Saving Society Regional Junior Lifesaving Club Carnival.

Friends of the Nursing Home, a group of 25 local volunteers, were recognised for their contributions to the Esperance Nursing Home.The group had volunteered countless hours helping the facility including fundraising and assisting residents.

The Esperance Westpac branch took part in National Boardies Day by dressing up and donating $2000 worth of Nipper boards to the Esperance Surf Life Saving Club.
