A local has launched a 'pop-up' café, with the goal of enhancing options for families on a Sunday.
Livy's, owned and operated by Livy Moody, is open once a week at the Esperance Mini Golf.
Ms Moody said the idea for the business originated through her own experiences as a grandmother to young children.
"There really wasn't anywhere in Esperance for families to come, where their children don't need to sit at a table and where they can basically play and do their own thing," she said.
"That's what made me come up with the idea. Purely somewhere for families to go.
"Anything that makes it easier for parents is a good thing."
Ms Moody hopes the café will bring more people to the mini golf and, along with the redevelopment of the Adventureland Park, will help activate the Port area of town.
The business owner described the cooking side of the café as a "breeze", but admitted the business side did her "head in".
Ms Moody is already a popular chef in town having catered for weddings, sold at the Grower's Markets and brought her 'Rolled with Love' gourmet sushi to the Cannery.
Currently the business opens on Sunday from 7am to 1pm, but it has the potential to expand to two to three days per week if the positive response from the community continues.
"It depends how welcome people feel about coming down here," Ms Moody said.
"Hopefully they enjoy it and have a relaxing time with their children.
"So far the community support has just been fantastic and I've heard some lovely reports. It makes you want to continue on.
"I hope that everyone enjoys coming down whether it's for breakfast, a coffee or just sitting with their kids."

Ms Moody thanked her local suppliers and the Shire of Esperance for their support.
