Esperance Youth Advisory Council to host Amazing Race

The Shire of Esperance Youth Advisory Council will host a free Amazing Race event on Saturday, October 12.

Kicking off at the skate park on the Esperance foreshore at 1pm, teams of four will compete in fun challenges with snacks, giant games and a range of prizes to be won.

Participants aged between 12 and 25 are invited to register for the event and individuals under 18 must bring along a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.

Shire of Esperance Youth Advisory spokesperson Esther Bell said the event would be a fun day of challenges.

"The amazing race is an event where youth can get active while using their brains to complete challenges," she said.

"Going from the Adventure Land Park all the way to the Tanker Jetty, with challenges all along the foreshore between these two points."
