Weekend markets continue as the days continue to get warmer. So get some fresh local produce, help reduce food miles and grab a plant or two, delicious preserves and crafts from the Esperance Growers Market.

The Growers Market takes place once a fortnight come rain, hail or shine, Saturday mornings from 9-11am at Nulsen Primary School on Saturday, October 5 and 19.

The Museum Village Markets will be held Sunday 13th from 8:30-12:30pm. Peruse the crafts and local bits n bobs and grab a bite to eat on a beautiful Esperance Sunday morning.

If you are looking for activities to keep the kiddies busy these school holidays, there are plenty of options. The Esperance Civic Centre has 'Children are Stinky' on October 10. For tickets and information go to http://www.esperance.wa.gov.au/events/.

Esperance Bay Yacht club is hosting a Learn To Sail (5 day Course) October 7 to 11 from 8.45am-12.00pm. To register go to https://revolutionise.com.au/ebyc/events/.

Escare, Shire of Esperance and Esperance Community Arts are once again holding the very popular One & All Community Program from October 7 to 11. This program is all about making sport and recreation fun with a variety of activities, games and challenges. Come dressed to participate and don't forget to slip, slop and slap! Children under eight-years-old must be accompanied by an adult. It's FREE and suitable for all ages and abilities.

Coming up later in October is Sun Rising, a presentation of the two biggest names in Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis in a foot stomping new show 'The Killer vs The King'. Tuesday 22 October, Esperance Civic Centre 7.00-9.00pm. and WASO's Eroica Tour, the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra in an exhilarating and ground-breaking show.
