The Ravensthorpe Regional Arts Council will bring the laughs to Hopetoun with their third and final Fitz of Laughter Comedy Gala on Thursday, October 17.

This is the last stop of the Comedy Gala, after hosting sell-out events in Ravensthorpe and Jerdacuttup earlier this year.

The Gala promises to save the best until last and will be bringing some of Australia's finest comedians to entertain the community.

Sets from Triple J's Ciaran Lyons and national touring comedian Xavier Susai will be followed by performances by local talents ready to flex their comedic muscles.

Ravensthorpe Regional Arts Council chair Ainsley Foulds said the events were an opportunity for the community to come together through laughter.

"This project was created when we realised that there was a large part of our younger audience wanting more opportunities to come together and have a good laugh," she said.

"Things can be tough at times, and having a laugh with mates is a way through that."

The gala will feature a pop-up bar and buffet and is an over 18 event, teens aged 16 years and over can attend with a guardian.

The project is funded through the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries' Raise the Roof program.
