Men's fashions modeled in country setting

Locals gathered at Yirri Grove to see the latest in men's fashion modeled on Sunday, September 15.

The three models, Glenn Churchland, Ron Dixon and Stanley Halls, modeled casual summer wear, 'loud and bright' outfits and Britain's formal wear from men's clothing store Clobberz.

Clobberz owner Michaela Maloney said it was her store's first fashion parade and she was excited to hold it at Yirri Grove.

"I had the idea of getting out there and having a fun Sunday," she said.

"It's bringing good food to people and giving them the opportunity to have a look at what is available in town."

Yirri Grove co-owner Anne O'Neill said she was very pleased to hold the function in the olive grove.

"That 's what we're here for, providing good home in the country," she said.

Ashleigh Parker from Hair Picasso did the makeup for the models, with musical duo Mel and Mike performing.
