Anglers vie for catch titles

Members were blessed with another great day fishing weather wise last Sunday. However catches were small with the day falling on the worse day for fishing within the Solunar Tables. Numbers were good again with 8 boats and 20 Anglers participating and the highlight of the day was a capture of a Bluefin Tuna by Mark Haberecht which is certainly out of season but it made some great sashimi later in the evening.

Champion Angler is a fight between was Ricky Grant and Steven Howe and Ricky won the Champion Boat with Rob Tate from Tateys Fishing World. Champion Junior was Phoenix Fitzpatrick and Deb Bale was the Champion Lady.

The heaviest fish weighed in was a 24.44Kg Samson Fish caught by Steven Howe.
