The Esperance Mechanical Restoration Group will hold its 11th annual 'Keep your sausage sizzling' fundraiser.
The event will be held on September 22 from 10am to 2pm at the group's sheds on McLean Road, with funds raised going towards the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
The sheds will be open with tractors, trucks, cars motorbikes, stationary engines, blacksmith display, a 118 year-old chaff cutter and many other agricultural implements on display.
There will also be displays of sewing machines and retro kitchen and clubroom memorabilia.
The newly formed Esperance Prostate Cancer Support Group will attend to offer support and information.
The group was established to provide support to men diagnosed with prostate cancer, through shared experiences and increased awareness in a safe and confidential environment.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Australian men and is the second most common cause of cancer deaths in men.
The Esperance Mechanical Restoration Group thanked Castletown Chemist for sponsoring the raffle and Esperance Woolworths and the Esperance French Hot Bread Shop for donations towards the sausage sizzle.
