The 48th Annual Esperance Music Festival will wrap up today. Some highlights from today's program includevocal solos under 13yrs at 10am; and oneto most definitely watch - Open Piano Solos from 7pm tonight.

The Cannery Arts Centre has something for everyone with their latest workshops. The centre will host a Ceramic Tableware workshop on Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm, from August 20. Phylum Insecta - for the kids will begin from August 21 and run on Wednesdays between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Silversmith Design & Sculpt will run on Sunday, August 25, from 1pm-4pm and Paint Pouring with Esti will commence on August 31 from 1pm-3pm. Esperance Library is hosting a Meet the Author Julie Janson - Light Horse Ghost on Tuesday, August 27 from 5.30pm-6.30pm. This thought-provoking novel promises to enthral you! The return of the Light Horse to WA, brought many stories of bravery and this new novel is set to reveal tragedy and dark humour.

The next fortnight at the Civic Centre is set to kick off with a bang, with Adelaide Comedy Gold 2019 on Wednesday, August 28. This hilarious, belly laughing, side-splitting comedy will have you begging for the show to finish so you can catch your breath. The Keep Esperance Beautiful group will host the inaugural Keep Esperance Tidy Challenge this Sunday, August 25. Register at 8.30am, collect bags and gloves from the Ports Football clubrooms and blitz your suburb for the chance to win. The event will be followed by a sausage sizzle for all volunteers at 11am.
