A mobile centre is travelling to local regional communities to deliver tailored Centrelink, Medicare and child support services.
Desert Rose will be in Hopetoun on Wednesday, June 19 from 9am to 4pm near McCulloch Park on Veal Street and in Ravensthorpe the following day from 9.30am to 3.30pm near the Community Resource Centre on Dunn Street.
The mobile centres are 20-tonne trucks operated by staff from the Department of Human Services, which provide regional communities with friendly face-to-face service and individualised support.
A social worker will be with service staff on the trip, offering short-term counselling and referrals.
A Farm Household Case Officer will also accompany service staff to assist farmers who are experiencing financial hardship.
Information about Department of Veterans' Affairs programs and support services will also be available.
