More than 40 people took to the foreshore with their furry friends on Sunday morning, May 19, to take a stand against animal cruelty as part of the RSPCA's Million Paws Walk fundraiser.
The local event was coordinated by the newly-established Esperance volunteers RSPCA group, with support on the day from Swans Veterinary Services.
RSPCA WA relies on donations to generate more than 90 per cent of the funds required to sustain its animal protection work.
The event aims to raise funds for the thousands of animals the organisation cares for each year.
Event coordinator Amanda Thomas said organisers were thrilled with the turn out and thanked the community for its support.
"We had a fabulous turn out, especially considering the weather," she said.
"We're very thrilled."
