Esperance Police appeal for information over burglary

Esperance Police have appealed for information following a burglary at a home on Dempster Street last Monday, May 6.

Between about 2pm and 5:50pm, police allege a number of suspects kicked open the front door of the property before rummaging through the house, searching rooms and removing drawers from cupboards.

It is not yet known whether anything of value was stolen during the burglary but it is understood that there was extensive damage to the property.

According to police, forensic evidence is currently being processed.

Esperance Police have urged anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Dempster Street and William Street during that time or witnessed something they believe to have been suspicious to contact Esperance Police Station on 9079 8999 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
