Members turned out for the last range of the first round for the 2019 season, with hardly any breeze and clear sighting. Ray Hurley was one point off his average, contesting the F Open class with scores of 57.4 and 59.6, ending with a handicap score of 99.

Leith Hill came in second, scoring 53.3 and 55.3, his handicap equalling 96. Adrian Moffat placed third after recording 50.2 and 54.6 and a handicap score of 89 - well below his best.

F Standard class had just three competitors, with Ellen Moffat claiming top rifle, scoring 54.1 and 49. Her handicap score was just 90, but enough to beat Terry Neville's 53 and 50 on the same handicap score of 90. Third place went to Ian Newman, scoring 49 and 46.

This left Graham Donovan shooting target rifle, scoring 45.2 and 47.5 and a handicap result of 94. The scores for the best two from the last three efforts saw Leith Hill win the $50 with 198. Ray Hurley scored 197, while Ellen Moffat was third with 196.
