The Esperance Growers Market is set to continue throughout the spectacular autumn weather, so why not get some fresh local produce, help reduce food miles and grab a plant or two, along with some delicious preserves and crafts?

The Growers Market takes place from 9-11am at the Nulsen Primary School today and again on May 18.

The Museum Village Markets will also continue on Sundays, May 12 and 26, from 8.30-12.30pm, with plenty of local bits and bobs, and fresh food and crafts to peruse on a beautiful Sunday morning.

It's madness in the month of May, with many shows at the Esperance Civic Centre that offer something for everyone. Morning Melodies will run on Thursday, May 9, with two shows from local act Anne Henderson from 11am until 1pm. Bring a mate and your lunch and enjoy live, local music for just $5 entry.

Country Arts WA and Act-Belong-Commit will bring you the Purple People Show from6pm on Thursday, May 9. This amazing duo wowed the crowd at Edge of the Bay back in 2018 in an internationally award-winning, hilarious, high-energy show that featured a male-and-female duo performing acrobatic stunts and dangerous feats of grandeur; all wrapped in bright and zany costumes! It all culminated in a breathtaking stunt that no-one else in the world performs. You don't want to miss this! Be sure to grab your tickets today.

The Esperance Seniors Recreation Council presents the Super Troupers in Shades of Blue at The Bijou Theatre, directed by Shirley Clark. This event presents a fantastic opportunity to support our amazing local actors. Tickets can be purchase at the Senior Citizens Centre, Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm or Saturday May 4 from 9am-12noon.

The show will be held on Friday, May 10, Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12.

Join the legendary Toni Childs - Retrospective for a special two-hour performance on May 16 at the Esperance Civic Centre from 7.30pm-10pm as the singer-songwriter celebrates her 30-year anniversary of Union.

Later this month, A Taste of Ireland - Dance and Music Spectacular will be on at the Esperance Civic Centre on May 23, followed by Possum Magic on May 27 and 28 and The Melbourne International Comedy Roadshow Festival on May 30 from 8pm.
