Its our favourite time of the week a chance to reflect on the changes in Esperance, the faces and the fun that was being had 10 years ago this week.

Making headlines in April 2009, almost three decades after fining NASA for littering the local area with debris from space station Skylab, the Shire of Esperance received a cheque for $400 US.

A 45ft yacht narrowly avoided catastrophe after it began drifting towards the rocks of the James Street groyne.

Esperance Primary School kindergarten students entertained parents and grandparents as they held their annual Easter hat parade.

OLIVIA Morris, 11-years-old, was awarded Sports Star of the Week for her accomplishments in gymnastics and surf lifesaving.
