The Esperance Cancer Council are calling on locals to help them establish and record the group's history.

Esperance Cancer Council public officer Marina Miller said the group was going strong today, however there was a lot that was unknown about the local group's origin and past.

"Your help is needed to find the group's history from the time the group was formed in the 1980s and also in the 1990s," Mrs Miller said.

"Maybe you were a member or friend of a member."

The local Cancer Council of WA Fundraising group will be holding a Mother's Day cafe and raffle stall at Supa IGA on Thursday, May 9..

To help with their history or for more information, visit the group on May 9 or call Mrs Miller on 9071 1937.
