Esperance Surf Life Saving Club have celebrated the end of the 2018/19 season with their awards night on Saturday evening, April 13.
Dane Holdman and Lisa Julian were presented with the Red Anderson Award for performing a heroic rescue.
The award was the first of several accolades for the pair, with Holdman awarded Open Male Club Champion and Most Committed Member and Julian named Senior Patrol Club Member.
Young star Ben Murgatroyd took out several awards, including the Dempster 1000 Junior award and the AJ Read Marathon, and Lawson Baker took away the Swimming Meritorious, U15 Male Club Champion and the Club Achiever Award.
Steve Baker took out the Dempster 1000 senior award and the President's Trophy.
The 800m Surf Swim 'Concrete World' was won by Max Campbell, who also took out U17 Male Club Champion, and Ruby Davies-Mele was awarded U15 Female Club Champion and Most Enthusiastic Cadet.
Emily Barnes received the Youth Achiever Award, Meg Baker was named the U17 Female Club Champion and Jacqui Tonkin took out the Open section.
Sharon Henning was named Masters Female Club Champion and Maddie Garraway won Junior Patrol Club Member.
Boat Crew Member of the Year was Wayne Appleton, the Lucy Oorschot Award was taken out by Kelly Buttle and Penny Boardman was named this season's Most Dedicated Member.
