Four Esperance schools gather for interschool carnival

Nulsen Primary School held an interschool carnival on Friday April 5.

Students from Castletown Primary, Esperance Primary and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School joined the Nulsen students for the day of competition. 

The overall winner was Esperance Primary School, with Castletown Primary School the runner-up school. 

The Meritorious Award went to Castletown Primary School, with Nulsen Primary School in second place. 

Nulsen Primary School principal Dale Watkins said the carnival was a "fabulous day"

"I was very proud of the terrific sportsmanship and participation from all our Nulsen Primary School Competitors," she said.

"It was a great day of competition between the four schools, with children from each schools trying their hardest and demonstrating personal best at all times.

"There was wonderful support from staff, parents and carers from across the schools who volunteered to help out in many events. This assisted to make the day run very smoothly."

Nulsen Primary School thanked Angela Jeitz for coordinating the event and acting as the Chief Judge.

The school also thanked all the staff and volunteers, including the P&C who provided lunches, a stall and coffee.
