The Keep Esperance Beautiful group are maintaining their momentum, taking to Summy's Park and Daw Drive in Bandy Creek for another monthly clean up on Sunday morning, April 7.

The event comes after record-breaking Clean Up Australia Day for the group, with almost 50 attendees covering the 10 kilometres of coastline between West Beach and Bandy Creek in March.

The clean up will run from 9am until 10.30am, with bags and gloves provided, and will conclude with an easter egg hunt and refreshments for volunteers.

Event organiser Noel Fleming has also been running a community initiative to educate people on the impact of ocean waste, filling an aquarium with microplastics.

Following Sunday's clean up, volunteers will be invited to guess the number of marine debris pieces for the chance to win a prize.

Anyone who would like to get involved with the Keep Esperance Beautiful group can contact Mr Fleming on 0412279181.
