Escare to host Pop Up Café outside Esperance Museum

The public are invited to a free 'Pop Up Café' to help recognise the work and achievements of women in the community.

Escare will host the café for International Women's Day on Friday, March 8 outside the Esperance Museum entrance.

The event from 10:00am to 12:00pm will feature live music, tea and coffee, cupcakes, a guest speaker and more.

The theme for this year's International Women's Day is #BalanceforBetter, which aims to work towards a gender-balanced world.

Escare service manager Jo Aberle said the event would include a celebration of examples of women who lead in the community.

The event is also supported by the Shire of Esperance and Centrecare.

"It's nice to see different services in the community coming together to do this," Mrs Aberle said.

"We can offer a lot more when we do things together."
