Retravision Esperance presented the Esperance RFDS Auxiliary with a $10,000 cheque, following a successful campaign to sell 5000 tickets.

The Esperance RFDS sold raffle tickets for $2 each to enter the running for $12,000 worth of appliances at Retravision.

Store manager Ben Fetherston said the RFDS was a critically important organisation, especially for regional WA.

"I think everyone in Esperance knows of someone who has benefited from the services that the RFDS provides," Mr Fetherston said.

"We contribute to sporting clubs and community groups every day and every week, but we like to do one big giveaway a year."

Mr Fetherston said the $12,000 in prizes was probably their biggest ever prize pool.

Prizes for the single winner include a 50-inch HD TV a washing machine, a fridge, a dishwasher and cookware.

Auxiliary president Robert Horan expressed "a really big thank you" to the store.

"It's been ongoing every year and I believe they have started already for next year," he said.

"Without people like Retravision, we couldn't survive and make the money that we do.

"This has been the most money we've raised from this raffle so far, with $10,000."

Mr Horan said the tickets were sold as a result of hard work from the local RFDS volunteers.

"We had great responses as we always do," he said.

The winner will be drawn 9:00am, March 1 at the Retravision Esperance store.

The store will contact the winner if he/she is not present.
