Esperance Bowling Club holds Round Robin

A total of 120 Bowling Ladies travelled from the Lower South West, Upper South West and Central South West to Esperance on the weekend, February 8 to 10, to take part in the LandMark Inter League Round Robin.  

Competition was fierce over the three days with the Great Southern League from Darkan, Dumbleyung, Katanning, Kojonup, Moodiarrup and Wagin taking out the honours with eight points.

In second position were Lower Great Southern from Albany, Cranbrook, Denmark, Emu Point, Frankland, Mid Beach, Mt Barker, Mt Barker Golf and Walpole with six points and 13 rink wins.  

Third were Upper Great Southern from Brookton, Pingelly, Wickepin and Williams also with six points and seven rink points.

Three local girls were chosen to play in the Inter Zone Round Robin to be held in Dunsborough on March 9 and 10. 

Margie Rance from Esperance and Trish Stone from Scaddan with Jan Fiegert from Esperance as emergency reserve.

Margie Rance from Esperance was also chosen to play Country versus Metro in Perth on March 24 with Trish Stone from Scaddan as reserve.
