According to SharkSmart there has been a public report of a school of large unknown sharks of unknown species.
The shark school sighting was reported at 9:23am today, Friday February 8 at Wharton Beach in Cape Le Grand National Park.
Esperance Police also tweeted warning ocean users of several sharks observed in the area.
Police said Cape Le Grande and Shire Rangers were aware and monitoring the situation.
Police have asked ocean users to please obey any signs and restrictions that may be imposed and to remain vigilant and safe.
