Volunteer ‘Lifecycle’ Training will be held at the Esperance Civic Centre on Friday, February 22.
The session from 9:15am to 2:30pm is based around the themes of ‘connect, learn and belong’.
The training aims to guide volunteers and volunteer managers to explore how all elements of volunteering impact on each other.
Participants will explore ways to effectively recruit volunteers and develop mentoring strategies.
The session will also explore topics such as making volunteer inductions count, supporting volunteers in realising their purpose, creating fun and inclusive environments and increasing the ways groups and organisations engage with the wider community.
To participate in training, RSVPs to the Esperance Volunteer Resource Centre are required by Monday, February 11.
