The QUBE Bulk Esperance Foreshore Festival and Fireworks is fast approaching for 2018.
The festival will be held on Monday, December 31 around the Whale Tail and will open from 1:00pm with entertainment and activities for all ages, food vendors and market stalls.
The festival conclude with a spectacular 20-minute fireworks display at 9:00pm.
The festival is a free family friendly, smoke and alcohol-free community event which showcases the spirit and talents of Esperance.
This is the fifth year the Rotary Club of Esperance Bay has facilitated the event.
The talent quest is held from 4:00pm to 6:30pm, with People’s Choice voting open only in this time.
Following the talent show, local band ‘Bottom of the Barrel’ will perform until the fireworks begin at 9:00pm.
The Rotary are planning on expanding the space in the activity tent to allow for play dough and rock art activities, with the highly competitive colouring in competition set to continue.
Volleyball and soccer balls will be available from the activities tent for casual games.
Festival goers can join the Esperance Scouts Group who are making kites or can get involved in street art.
The Country Women’s Association’s Colour Catastrophe will start on the beach from 4:30pm.
