The Esperance Men in Sheds will hold their Shed Open Day and Garage Sale on Saturday, December 8.
Esperance shed president Neil Wittorff said the open day and sale helped the group cover expenses and was an chance for the community to view their work.
“We get a lot of furniture from over the year and we try to sell everything,” he said.
“It’s not sold for $150 like you buy in a shop, we sell some things for $20, $30.
“The sale allows us to get a few dollars in, because we have pretty high running costs with the machinery.”
Mr Wittorff said the open day was also an opportunity for the club to gain new members.
“It certainly gets people talking, some people don’t realise what’s involved until they come along to something like this,” he said.
The open day and sale will be held from 8:30am to 1:00pm at the group’s shed at 18 Simpson Street, Chadwick.
