The Department of Local Government will hold a Community Drop-in Session on Monday evening, December 3, to collect feedback on the review of the Local Government Act 1995.
Members of the public were invited to have their say earlier this year regarding issues including the training of council members, member code of conduct, and improvements to CEO recruitment.
The next phase will address issues such as financial management, rates, fees and charges, administrative efficiencies and local laws, council meetings, complaints management and elections.
The consultation will take place at the Council Chamber in the Shire Administration Building from 5pm until 7pm.
The Community Drop-In Session is open to all and those hoping to attend are able to RSVP to the session here.
Those unable to attend are able to complete a survey here before March 31, 2019.
