What's on in Esperance - The Buzz

Only 25 sleeps to Christmas and what a month of events! 

The Shire of Esperance is ready to serve and share in an evening with seniors 60 years and over in the community at The Annual Seniors Dinner on December 2. A fabulous night of entertainment and food. If you have miss out, you will have to wait until next year! December 9 brings us Community Christmas celebrations. 

The Esperance Community Pageant will be a fun-filled day, with opportunities to stock up on those last minute Christmas presents at the Museum Village Markets. 

Watch the parade of floats between 3:30-4:30pm as they treck down Dempster and Andrew Street, with live commentary of the parade to be presented from the RSL Park.

Father Christmas will be available for photos from 4:30-5:45pm and the day will close with a beautiful Carols by Candlelight presented by the Lions Club of Esperance at the Sound Shell from 6-8pm.

So bring your blanket and sing along to your favourite Christmas carols. SAVE the date for Esperance Edge of the Bay Event 2018. This action packed two-day event will take place over December 15 and 16. Come on down from 8am for a free body balance class near the skate park boat ramp. 

From 10am-3pm, The King of Concrete will be off and rolling with skaters Zepp Hayes, Jedd McKenzie and Liv Lovelace who will be in town to share their skating skills with workshops on the Friday and compete in the King of Concrete Skate Competition.

Delicious food and activities will be available, chess, laser tag, squash, story time and basketball to name a few. As the Skate competition draws to a close at 3pm, live local music acts including Josh Thomas and Rachel Vibart along with Perth bands Hart and the Hunting Birds will entertain with plenty of tunes till 10pm. 

Zap Circus will be around on the day to wow you with circus displays and they’ve got something extra special for the evening. Complimentary activities for the Edge of the Bay around town will be running on Sunday. 

Including a free pool party at the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre with Hunting Birds live music, the Village Markets and Moving Movies at the Soundshell, Santa Clause will be screening, gates open 6:30pm, film starts at 7:15pm. Adults $10, kids under 17 $5, under 2 free.
