What's on in Esperance - The Buzz

Spring comes alive, so get outside, enjoy the beach and the many activities that are offered around town.

The Cannery Arts Centre have a massive month and kicks off with an exhibition of Creative Works compiled by the Esperance Senior High School from November 2-8. 

The Cannery Arts Centre also brings you many workshops for all ages throughout November 8-30th, including Flotsam & Jetsam, Pottery Taster & Short Courses, Drawing, The Art of Brewing Coffee, Music Workshop with Michael Barker, Improv Comedy Workshop with Julian Canny. These workshops can be booked through Cannery Arts Centre. 

A Fashion/Tunes and 9 x 5 Exhibition Opens on November 18 from 1pm-3pm and will flow into the family-friendly Cannery Open Mic Night from 3pm-7pm. 

The Civic Centre will be hosting Celtic Illusions on November 7 and tickets have almost sold out, so get in quick! 

Celtic Illusion is the biggest dance and magical illusion sensation that has been taking Australian audiences by storm. 

The show for ALL ages cleverly fuses awe-inspiring contemporary Irish Dance with mind-blowing magic and Grand Illusions, and has now returned for a one-night show.

With incredible new choreography, spellbinding magic, heart-racing music and a sensory experience like no other, audiences will be kept on the edge of their seats!

Morning Melodies presents you with LOCAL live soulful music with Tim Currie on November 8 at the Esperance Civic Centre. 

Morning Melodies takes place on the second Thursday of the month between 11am-1pm, live music from 12-12.45pm, BYO lunch and $5 for entry.

November 8-22 brings us Seniors Week. 

Numerous activities will be held throughout town, including an Exhibition from November 12 to 16 and Open Day at the Senior Citizens Centre on November 14.

The Annual Seniors Dinner will take place on December 2, with tickets available via the Shire Office and at the Senior Citizens Centre on November 14 between 12:20pm-1:20pm.

As Christmas draws near so the Christmas Activities begin! The Esperance Public Library will be holding various one hour craft activities for those five years and over from 3:30pm-4:30pm on November 14, 21 and 28.
