Local cooking connoisseurs are being called to put their skills to the test, with applications now open for the 2018 BBQ Challenge and a number of prizes to be won.
The one day event will take place on Friday, October 19, at the Esperance and Districts Agricultural Show, and will be judged by celebrity butcher Vince Garreffa.
Teams of up to four people able to register in one of four categories, including chicken, pork ribs, pork, and beef brisket.
Teams will be in the running to win one of five prizes from Barbeques Galore Esperance and local butchers.
Limited spaces are available and those interested are encouraged to establish a team, complete an entry form and forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
