October is the time to ‘Pink it Up’, Esperance!

The ‘Pink Up Your Town’ campaign increases breast cancer awareness and helps fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia. In any way, big or small, get PINK through October.

Saturday, October 6, will see the Bijou Theatre host ‘Talk to the Animals’ SAFE fundraising Variety Concert.

Tickets will be available for $20 before a 7.30pm start.

From October 7-13, we recognise Mental Health Week and Carers Week from October 14-21. A number of activities will be occurring every day throughout the fortnight.

Ranging from a Pop up Café, health and wellness activities including yoga, instrumental music jam, kayaks and paddle boarding, youth First Aid, movies at the cinema, Turn Blue for a Day March on the first Wednesday, so much to offer so get involved.

Morning Melodies is on again on October 11 at the Esperance Civic Centre. 

This month’s live sounds will be brought to you by the very accomplished pianist and music teacher Tim Holland. Excite the senses with sounds of French music in the ‘impressionist’ style - Debussy and Poulenc and a little Mozart, too. 

Morning Melodies takes place on the second Thursday of the month between 11am-1pm, with live music from 12pm and BYO lunch. Entry is $5.

On Saturday, October 13, The Cannery Arts Centre and Kyza Presents bring you Club 75 Volume 4.

Club 75 will be held in the Pop Up Lounge Bar of The Cannery from 6-10pm and will provide a classy, laid-back atmosphere with artists Grace Sanders, Ruby May, Rachel Vibart  and Bec Schutz.

This event is 16+ with people under 18 to be accompanied by an adult.
