Soft Commodity Logistics Pty Ltd provides services to agriculture Australia-wide and is based in Esperance where they carry out several activities including bulk haulage, spreading and Seed Shield – mobile seed grading and treating.
SCL has been operating bulk haulage transport since 2010 to local farmers in Esperance with services from farm to port as well as Perth to Esperance for commodities such as grain, fertiliser, lime and gypsum.
SCL recently took on Pro Ag Contracting, a local spreading business.
Services include spreading fertiliser, lime and gypsum and can be paired with carting those commodities by road train from supplier to farm.
Spreaders are set up for CTF, variable rates and include a three point linkage unit.
Also available is a Marshal truck spreading unit.

Seed Shield, established in 2012 by Landmark, is your local seed grading and treating specialist and SCL is the exclusive contractor operating the service.
SCL’s fleet of mobile seed graders travel the state covering a range of on-farm services, including grading grain types such as cereals, pulses, legumes and fine seeds.
The business process all seed types, in particular, Canola which they can size to 2mm.
In 2017 SCL added a new service, grading and treating lentils with a large range of screens to suit different varieties.
In 2018 SCL are adding yet another mobile seed grader to their fleet, the TS35 which is a high capacity seed grader that processes wheat at approx. 35 tonnes per hour.
This is the third of its type in SCL’s WA fleet.
