The National Disability Insurance Agency is hosting two free information sessions in Esperance.
A community information session will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am on Thursday September 27 at the Esperance Civic Centre.
A provider session will be held on the same day from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at the Civic Centre.
The community information session will discuss the roll out of the NDIS into the Esperance area, and how the rollout will impact people with disabilities, families members, carers and providers.
New and existing providers are encouraged to attend the provider session to learn more about working with the National Disability Insurance Agency.
This session will include information on how to register to provide supports under the NDIS and working with NDIS participants.
The Goldfields-Esperance region will begin transferring to the federally funded NDIS on October 1.
