Worth Kerbing started the Saturday, September 8 Under 17 Grand Final against ANZ Agri strong.
The team delivered some excellent forward movement by Gage and Jackson Daw.
Chloe de Grussa and Aden Close stood strong in defence and hit some great clearing passes.
A solid run by Drew Daw led to a beautiful goal off the rebound by his brother Jackson Daw.
Worth Kerbing led their opponents 1 – 0 at half time.
ANZ Agri rallied in the break and came out fighting.
Sam Johnston had a great shot on goals that was saved by goalie Matt Clawson.
Both teams fought hard with each earning several short corners, but they were unable to convert shots into goals.
With the score unchanged from half time, Worth Kerbing took the win 1 – 0.
