On Sunday, the Condingup Golf Open Day was held, and the result seems to be a bit of deja vu, as Scaddan local Brad Lewis took the honours for the ninth time.

A group of 27 players battled against the weather and played an 18-hole stableford.

Tony Major was the nett runner-up and Wade Fiegert was the lucky gross winner with Ian Mumme finishing second.

Despite the wet conditions everyone enjoyed themselves.

Thank you to the helpers on the day including many who came from other clubs; it was quite overwhelming to see how everyone was willing to chip in and make the day happen.

Thanks goes to Epasco farms and Brindley & Gale for the years of sponsorship, special thank you to Rod and Kim Taylor, best wishes from the golfers.

Jim Somerville, from Chopping Block Butchers supplied meat and cooked a barbecue for the participants.

Next event – Sunday, August 19 is the Munglingup Open Day, hope to see you all there.
