The Norseman Cup on Saturday, April 7 saw a young rider gallop to victory in four out of five races.
Norseman Turf Club secretary Patrick Hogan estimated spectator turnout was about 200.
Apprentice rider Chelsi Forder rode Madam Winks to victory in the first race.
Ms Forder then won the second race on her horse Brittella.
The third race was won by Esperance trainer Nicole Hopwood on Braixen.
Race four saw Ms Forder notch her third win on horse, Secret Road.
Ms Forder then won the fifth and final race, the coveted Shire of Dundas Cup, on horse, Masarari.
Mr Hogan said everybody had an enjoyable time
“It was a little bit on the hot side but other than that it was beautiful,” he said.
“It was all good.”
