Main Roads have advised motorists to exercise caution on South Coast Highway, following two truck traffic incidents on Wednesday, March 7.
Main Roads Great Southern regional manager Andrew Duffield said crews were sent to two separate incidents in the morning of March 7, 2018.
He said the initial incident occurred around 8am approximately 10km east of Ravensthorpe.
“A small drill rig bounced off the back of a truck and gashed a section out of the road,” he said.
The second incident involved a rollover of a truck trailer carrying grain.
Mr Duffield said the accident occurred in the vicinity of Hatfield Road, approximately 25km east of Ravensthorpe.
“In both instances, Main Roads crews assisted by the Shire of Ravensthorpe, responded to provide traffic management at each site and assist with clean-up operations,” he said.
Mr Duffield said he was not aware of any injuries reported in relation to either incident.
