This competition prepares the Brigades for the State Open Championships to be held in Mandurah over the long weekend of March 3-5.

All the coaches expressed the view that the Goldfields Brigades should do well at the State Open considering their form at the Southern Cross competition.

Southern Cross Brigade was congratulated on hosting the competition in a professional way and entertaining the Brigades at a social function at the completion of the events.
