Local financial assistance charity, Escare is marking a major milestone.
The organisation was officially incorporated 35 years ago on March 8, 1983.
The charity will celebrate the anniversary, which will coincide with International Women’s Day.
Service manager Jo Aberle said the charity assisted families with finding affordable housing, coping with social isolation and financial stress, accessing child care and helped youth at risk.
“We are an inclusive and innovative, family friendly organisation,” she said.
“Escare has a strong relationship with many Noongar families and an open door policy.
“We identify and respond to emergent needs and offer a range of services, which cater to members of the whole community, individuals and family events.”
Ms Aberle said the organisation was nonjudgmental and worked with vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
“Small acts of kindness will enrich our community.”
“Find out what Escare does so you can be part of the pathway for people to access groups, services and activities being offered in the community.”
