Country Home of the Year award goes to Esperance Home

An Esperance home has won the prestigious Country Home of the Year Award.

The BD Partington home previously won the Master Builders award for the Goldfields region and has now been crowned the best in WA, for 2018.

Owner of BD Partington Contractors, Brett Partington said the house was built by some of the best craftsmen in the region.

The home features extensive travertine floor tiling, panoramic bay views framed with elegant windows and a vanishing-edge swimming pool.

It comes with two kitchens, a lift and private bathrooms attached to each bedroom.

Master Builders Housing director Jason Robertson said Brett Partington and his team had built consistently high quality homes.

“Competition in the housing industry is always extremely fierce and the fact that this Esperance home is a stand-out in the top end of the market is testament to BD Partington’s first-class skills and professionalism,” he said.

Mr Robertson also commended designer Rob Forgione for allowing residents to live on one floor, and use the others for hosting guests.

“Floor plans like this are becoming increasingly popular and BD Partington executed the design brief with precision,” he said.

“The builder’s dedication to achieve such an outstanding outcome makes it a worthy winner of Western Australia’s Best Country Home.”

The Esperance home had already cleaned up at the Goldfields regional awards, notching wins for Best Contract Home over $1 million, Excellence in Painting, Excellence in Floor & Wall Tiling, Excellence in Carpentry and Excellence in Plasterboard Linings.

The other four nominees were from the South West, Great Southern, Midwest and Kimberley-Pilbara, with each home having won for their region.

The prize was awarded to Mr Partington on Saturday February 24, 2018.
