Nominations for the 2018 WA Training Awards are now open.
There are 12 individual awards, with categories for apprentices and students and trainers, training organisations and employers
Winners get a $3,000 to help with their studies or start their careers.
Applications close on Friday May 4, 2018 and winners will be announced on Friday 28 September 2018.
Education minister Sue Ellery said the awards recognised the role of apprentices and trainers in WA’s future.
“The WA Training Awards shine a light on professions that are vital to our State’s prosperous future, and the success stories of those within them,” she said.
“Training can be the key to creating a better future, getting a better job and securing better pay.
“As jobs change and diversify, it is important to showcase the success stories of vocational pathways across a range of sectors and recognise the hard work of those in the industry.”
