Two lucky locals have had a positive return to school this week, after receiving $250 vouchers from The Esperance Express Stationery Shop and Dempster Sporting on January 31.
Esperance Express Stationery Shop and Dempster Sporting joined forces again this year to offer the annual ‘Back to School’ promotion.
Castletown Primary School student Chad Burns and Helan Devenish both received vouchers.
Chad said he was excited to have won the prize and was planning to use it to purchase a tennis racket.
Having returned to school several days ago, Chad said his favourite thing about going back to school was seeing his best friends.
Parents who took their Back to School Term One booklists into the stationery shop before January 27 went into the draw to win two $250 vouchers for Dempster Sporting.
Esperance Express Stationery Shop manager Lee Van Hamburg thanked consumers for the ‘tremendous’ support the shop had received throughout the year.
“We’ve been running this promotion for about seven years,” she said.
“It’s always nice to be able to give something back during an expensive time, especially for the parents.”
Ms Van Hamburg thanked Dempster Sporting for their generosity and ongoing support and the community for their patience following the flood incident at the shop.
