Major Crash Investigators are seeking information following a fatal crash that killed a 47-year-old man in Howick on Sunday, December 31.
Around 6pm the Nissan Patrol utility was being driven along Kennedy’s Beach, approximately 100 kilometres east of Esperance.
It is believed there were two people inside the vehicle, including the 28-year-old male driver, and several people riding in the tray.
It is understood the man fell from the tray and hit the beach sand while the vehicle was moving, approximately 400 metres from the entrance track from Exchange Road.
Despite occupants providing emergency first aid, the man could not be revived and died at the scene.
Esperance Police attended the scene and have started an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
