Esperance figures share their Christmas message

The Esperance Shire Council and staff are committed to community, and whilst the year brought challenges, we've had many reasons to celebrate our successes.

In the face of adversity our volunteers and emergency services have delivered beyond expectation, being recognised in the Coastal Bravery and Emergency Services Awards.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everybody in our wonderful community who gives so generously to provide valuable services.

The people of Esperance help make our town unique, vibrant, and innovative, which attracts visitors to experience our hospitality and pristine coastline.

On behalf of the shire I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

If you’re on the road, please remember to ‘Slow Down and Enjoy the Ride.’

No doubt 2018 will bring us curveballs, but we’re ready to face them and to celebrate all the good things we have planned for our community.

Shire president Victoria Brown.
