The annual Community Christmas Pageant took place on Sunday, December 10, drawing members of the community to the town centre to celebrate the festivities.
The celebration included the opening of the Museum Village Markets, the street parade, photographs with Santa Claus and the Lions Club of Esperance Carols by Candlelight.
In an address at the Carols by Candlelight concert, Esperance Shire president Victoria Brown welcomed the audience and thanked the Esperance Brass Band and Sing Australia Esperance for being part of the performance.
“[Esperance Lions Club], you put this one every year and we thank you so much,” she said.
“Our community really is the richer for a night like this and, on behalf of us all, thank you.
“Keep up the good work.”
Ms Brown wished the community a very merry Christmas.
