Esperance Police find stolen mobility scooters

Esperance Police have recovered two stolen mobility scooters and charged two of the three juveniles involved in the theft.

The two gophers, valued at $900 and $500, were stolen from the front of two homes on Sunday night, November 26.

The 18-year-old man was charged with possessing stolen property and will appear in Esperance Magistrate Court on December 5.

The 15-year-old boy was charged with the same offence, set to appear in Esperance Children’s Court on December 6.

The 14-year-old boy was released without charge and referred to the Juvenile Justice Team for possessing stolen property.​

Police thanked the community for their help regarding reports of the two scooters being ridden on the oval at Esperance Senior High School, Nulsen.
