The Esperance Cancer Council Fundraising Group held another successful morning tea last weekend, raising a total of $1765 for cancer awareness.
More than 80 attendees turned out to the annual fundraising event at the Esperance Bowling Club to show their support.
Secret Wishes Boutique held a fashion parade featuring models showcasing pieces from the latest summer season range.
The Fundraising Group’s publicity officer Marina Miller said the parade was the ‘highlight’ of the morning and said the event was ‘lovely’.
“There are many people suffering from various types of cancer and the Esperance Cancer Council Fundraising group feel we are really helping them with our fundraising,” she said.
Group member Carol Goodson took out first prize in the event’s raffle.
The group expressed their gratitude to Kelly and Tracy from Secret Wishes, the models and the Esperance businesses that donated on the day.
